WW member MFP Tracker

Hi! I'm a newbie who loves to attend WW meetings but feel that regular food journaling would be simpler to try. Just curious to see if there are any other WW members her on MFP. If so, how do you work MFP into WW?
Thanks in advance guys for sharing

I just double track. I usually put things in MFP first (because it's faster) and then put them into WW. I usually put it in WW as I go along, so I know how I'm doing, but sometimes it waits till the end of the day. I removed the sugar and added fiber to my diary, that way it's easy to plug things into the WW calculator if I need to.
Lots of others have said it, and I've definitely found it to be true: MFP's database has a LOT more stuff than WW. That's another part of the reason I do it here first. I've also found the barcode scanner to work better. Half of the time I have to enter the codes in manually for WW because the camera won't focus.0 -
I attend WW meetings for the support and valuable tips/info, follow their GHCs (guidelines for dairy, fruit/veg, healthy oils etc), and continue to use my Activelink. But I count calories instead of points. I gave up trying to convert activity points into calories and just set myself at a higher activity level when calculating my daily MFP points target. This means no eating back exercise calories since that number is already built into my daily calories.
For a long time I double tracked in both WW e-tools and MFP but it was driving me crazy and for me was unsustainable over the long haul. I am the type of person who will need to track for the rest of my life and find calories more manageable than points in the "real" world.0 -
Thanks for responding to my post! I just bought the Activelink so now I'm wondering how to convert those activity points to calories.0

I wish MFP had a customizable "Daily Checklist" like WW does so I could check off my oils, dairy, etc. as I go. That is my favorite part of the WW tracker. Just sayin.'0

I'm not sure what to tell you about that. I use the Activelink, but the only calories I log in MFP are the ones I'm doing on purpose, like the gym or walking the dogs. I usually get 50% or more of my Activelink goal on Wednesday mornings at work shuffling boxes of produce around, but I'm not going to try to figure out the calories for that.0
