In for the long haul - need friends!!

I'm a 58-year-old woman who was a pretty serious runner in my 40's ... then injuries, resultant pouting, emotional eating, and menopause ... Whoops! 20+ pounds to lose.

Even though I was able to lose some weight since starting MFP, and I am ACTUALLY RUNNING a tiny bit, I am afraid of losing momentum... which would be my pattern. I get a LITTLE more comfortable in my body, I start compromising, I stop logging for a day or so, and I'm headed RIGHT BACK for tight clothes!! Or, if the knees don't cooperate and I can't run, I'm afraid I'll come down with a case of couch potato again.

I need friends here to stay motivated :) and I am looking forward to connecting with other people who need encouragement too. THANKS!
