Hello everyone. I was looking at one of the posts today and also looked in the excercise database, but I seen that there Wii Fit Exercises and no Kinect games that register calories like Your Shape. When do you think this will take place?

  • Really, if you have a Heart Rate Monitor you can set your own up now; that's what I've been doing.

I've found playing Dance Central (medium difficulty) and doing dances back to back for 30 minutes burns about 250 calories for me (I'm 5'10" / 165 pounds).
  • haven't heard anything about Kinect yet. and probably won't for a few mths, seeing as it is a new feature for the 360. your best bet would be to to send a message to the site admins, and suggest it.

Other than that, get yourself a HRM, monitor your calorie burn during your game play, and then create your exercises for the Kinect system

I think that is gonna be my next investment. Do you know any good ones?
  • Hi!
Dance Central isn't a standard workout game, but it has an on-screen calorie counter and workout timer that you can turn on. I believe it only runs when you're in 'Perform It' mode.
