    Good luck to you. We are all here to help you along the way. Keep an eye on the posts and you will be quite amazed at how much very valuable information comes out each day just in other peoples conversations. This site has helped me tremendously in just a few short weeks. Good Luck to you and welcome!!!
  • Its not so bad once you get new habits and stick to it. My advice is to set small goals to achieve the bigger one faster. You can do it!!!

    Welcome! Don't be embarrased--no need for that here. We'll all in the same boat. We've all made poor decisions in the past but are now determined to set things right and get healthy and stay that way!

    I started out 2 months ago with 145 pounds to lose--27 or so down so far!

    Glad you decided to join in the fun!

    I have only been on this site for about 3 weeks and I just :heart: it here. The support is great the information priceless and if you have questions or just need to vent just post.

    How did it happen?? The same way as the rest of us, one pound at a time..... or 3 or 4. In my case, it was really having no idea how many calories I was consuming on a daily basis. When i started logging in my food, I was shocked.

    So I started following the guidelines in here, the blog, reading everything I could, getting involved in the posts. Coming here and reading people's profiles and success when I felt I was craving food.

    I've been here for 5 weeks now, and have lost 13 pounds. Doesnt' seem like much because I have so much more to lose, but for me it is a small miracle.
