I made a very similar version of this on Sunday. So delish!!!
Makes 4 3/4c-1c servings (depending on apple size)
1 med-lg Cortland apple, peeled & diced
2 c. water
1 TBSP brown sugar
1 tsp honey
1 c traditional oats (not quick-cook)
sprinkle of cinnamon and apple pie spice
Boil water, spices, apples & seasonings in sauce pan. Once at full boil, add oats & remove from heat. Let stand 5-10 mins. Serve!0 -
