Is there anything that is equivalent to Shakeology? I can't see spending that much money for a month supply.

Any protein powder + a multivitamin. That's basically all shakeology is. The only difference is most brands of protein powder use a higher quality protein source and they have more protein per serving then shakeology.0

Real food is a pretty decent replacement.0

Just buy protein powder from normal sources. Avoid the pyramid scheme sales.0 -
There is a nutritional difference, but like someone said earlier, for weight loss, most any protein shake and supplements will work. Below is a link to a website of an independent review of Shakeology. These guys rate meal replacement shakes. I drink the vanilla and like they say in their review, because of all the vitamins and other nutrients, it doesn't taste as good as most shakes. I mix mine with coffee and vanilla almond milk. The coffee definitely helps with the flavor issue and gives me a shot of caffeine.
I'm going to try mixing it with some strawberries, bananas, blueberries and almond milk in the morning and see how that tastes.

I'm going to go with.....eat real food. Because it's tasty, affordable and I like to chew things.0

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I most definitely am not paying for Shakeology, but in the mornings I have a hard time eating breakfast because I'm just not hungry. So I was looking for a protein shake that was comparable to it. I'll just go to GNC or something. Does anyone have a brand they have found that is good? Doesn't have to be GNC, can be something from Walmart for all I care lol.0

Why would you eat if you aren't hungry?0 -
I'm using Twinlab but the 6 star or whatever brand Walmart carries isn't bad either. Don't fall for all that micronized made in Micronesia crap. Just find a quality brand that tastes good and is still affordable. Cookies and cream or vanilla are my favorites. I can't do the chocolate. It doesn't taste quite right to me.0

I really love the Body Fortress from Walmart. I usually get it in Vanilla and also in Chocolate. You can search Protein Shake Recipes and it is RIDICULOUS the amount of amazing recipes that are out there! My favorite is the cake batter recipe!! YUMM!!!!0

I'm not saying I have to eat in the morning, but if I don't then I don't get to eat until after 2pm and I get up at 6am. If I can take a protein shake to work, I'd be able to drink that when I get hungry. Eating at work is not an option for the job I have. And no, I don't work until 2 without breaks. I work until noon and then have stuff to do after work and don't get home until at least 2. So for me, a protein shake is the most convenient.0 -
If you're looking for a meal replacement instead of just a protein shake I would recommend either Garden of Life Chocolate Meal replacement or Vega One Chocolate. I prefer the taste of Vega One but use Garden of Life because it cost less per serving. Both provide a decent amount of protein, carbs, fats and fiber. You can get either on Amazon and The Vitamin Shoppe.0

My replacement would be a lean sirloin steak and a salad. Or some nights some grilled chicken or salmon.0

I've tried a LOT of protein shakes, as I have a medical protein requirement. My go tos:
EAS CarbVantage in chocolate fudge
Premier Protein in Chocolate
GNC Total Lean in Swiss Chocolate
Syntrax Nextar in Fuzzy Navel, Caribbean Cooler and Chocolate
Oh..I like chocolate, LOL0 -
The only one it tried was Slimfast and I don't recommend it.
Good luck!0
