MFP, Fitbit and Runtastic

Hi all,
I have a Fitbit One, which I wear all the time. I usually go for a walk at lunchtime, which I GPS track on my phone using Runtastic. Runtastic, Fitbit and MFP are all aware of each other and sharing data about my activities. Runtastic has the same height/weight information as MFP, and I have manually calibrated my Fitbit using a GPS-measured mile.
By the time I finish my walk, I've usually covered about 7,000 steps for the day, and the "Fitbit calorie adjustment" is around 320.
Runtastic takes the 3 mile walk at 4mph and credits me with 235 calories. Whereupon Fitbit deletes the entire calorie adjustment, leaving me with only 235 cals credited for the day! I can understand a small lack of corroboration between the apps, but it seems a bit mean to effectively deduct 25% of the earned calories for the day...
Is anyone else experiencing this? Have you found a fix or an explanation?
