The Follow-up

12 days ago I landed in the ER with sky high, make that Mars high; blood pressure. Dizzy, nauseous, falling down, headaches forever, tired etc.

Got new meds, make me feel fabulous.

Follow up visit BP "normal." However, it wasn't so much of a follow-up since I didn't see my doctor. The nurse took vitals and listed my meds and said doc would call me later today.

The nurse did ask "what do you mean 'they make you feel good'?" (the BP pills) I didn't know how bad I actually felt until I started taking these pills since now I feel ever so much better.

So, I am going to continue with what the ER doc said. "No added salt, lose 50lbs, try some yoga. (get a new job, ha!)"

I think I am off to a good start, perhaps. I am here. I am logging food. I am preparing meals, at least in my head, ahead of time. I am forming new habits. One meal at a time. (well, had a bombshell at breakfast today, but live and learn from it, yes?)

That is good that you are o.k. Keep logging and forming new habits and staying in touch with the doc/nurse.
Be aware of the side effects or check with the pharmacist.
Sometime those medications make you feel like you have less energy / more depression.
