Hey there fellow weight-losers (hehe)
I have a question. I am annoyed with myself right now...
I have lost 111lbs since August of 2012 after the birth of my son and I want to lose another 30-35lbs in order to make myself completely satisfied. I have ALWAYS weighed 180lbs my entire adult life until I met my husband and went up to a whopping 275lbs.
I am currently 164lbs and I am finding it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to lose weight! I don't always diet (meaning, I will give up the moderate-heavy exercising for a few weeks, eat a burger with fries, etc) but then I get back on the horse and miraculously lose weight. it was easy for me to lose the 111lbs, but now I cannot lose anything for the life of me. I have put in over 60 minutes of cardio (speed walking/jogging) a day with strength every 2-3 days. I eat roughly 1200-1300 calories (as per Fitness Pal's recommendation) and drink plenty of water (I do not drink calories unless if its a splash of milk in my coffee or green tea)
How can I break this cycle? PLEASE HELP! thanks!!

my advice is to up your calories. you do alot of exercise and sometimes upping your calorie intake will help bust a plateau.

Are you weighing and measuring everything you eat? I wouldn't go upping your calories until you're positive you're logging them accurately.0 -
How long have you been stalled?0

If you do not log your food on those weeks you go off the rails, I would recommend you do. Even if you're not hitting your targets, at least you'll have all the data in front of you and know if your total calorie intake is the reason for your stall. Also once you start getting smaller, normal weight fluctuations could mask your decreases, so I find it helpful to weigh at the same time of the day and of the month, etc0

You know the drill: eat less and/or exercise more. It always comes back to that.
If you haven't seen your doctor, do that first.
I have no experience losing at your weight, yet. Sorry.
CONGRATULATIONS on losing 111 pounds. Holy crap! So awesome!0 -
Log consistently and eat at a deficit.0
