Running tops for women

Ladies, any brands of tops you like for running? I'm busty and am looking for something with some support in addition to my sports bra. I like the shelf bra type shirts but Sports Authority only had one (!), it was sixty bucks, And didn't even offer much support. What brands do you like?

I don't do much cardio but when I do I just ALWAYS double up on the sports bra! That's been the most helpful for me!

Well, that's the problem w/ bras for us big girls! Price. As far as support goes, anything recommended on http://www.titlenine.com. If for nothing else, check out the support ratings on that site. Once you know what the bra brand is sometimes you can find them on Amazon for a little bit less.

I like the Enell Bras (http://www.enell.com). Yes, they're up to $64 each, but if you follow the care instructions, they last over a year. And nothing moves. Even when I'm running. I also tried the trade up bra on shown on that site. Its much cooler than the Enell when running in the summer. There's a learning curve for getting the thing hooked, but I'll buy another one at some point.

I've been running for about 4 years now, and I've never found one less than $30 that held up. So, I just save up for the good ones.

Lunaire makes a good underwire sports bra. You may still want to add a regular sports bra over that one depending on your needs.

Champion has a bunch of tops with the built in bra. Like you I use my good quality sports bra underneath for support and to prevent the dreaded uniboob. Champion stuff is at Target. There are 3 levels and the pricey one is best and not that pricey compared to designer brands. It's called advanced or performance or something like that.

Thanks ladies. I ordered some from Brooks. I like there running shoes so I thought i'd give the tops a try. Unfortunately, the medium didn't fit my bust. I just ordered a large. We shall see. I will try some of the recommended ones from this post. Boobs suck sometimes!

The Enell bras look great. I agree that a good sports bra is worth the price. I have an under armor one that I really like. I wash that thing in the shower after a run and hang it to dry. Gets more love than my 'fancy' stuff from Victoria's Secret!
