Could use some pointers please :)

About a year ago this time, I lost about 60 lbs in 3 months going a bit extreme. I only ate tuna and bananas for 3 months. I walked anywhere from 6 to 10 miles daily. I admit that it probably wasn't the best way to dive in. I'm here a year later after gaining back 20 of the 60 lost. I've put my self on a 3 month goal of trying to lose about 10 lbs a month. I have my calorie count at 1, 600 for the first month, 1, 400 for the second and 1, 200 for the third trying to ease myself back into it so that I don't crash and inevitably fall off the wagon again. Also, I've done the same with exercise.. a little here and there with lots of walking. With that said, if you could help me along the way with tips, it would be greatly appreciated or if you feel this isn't a good plan to start...

What about your last plan do you think was problematic?

I think in developing a plan it is critical that you make decisions based on what you can see yourself doing for the long term. At the same time, this is an educational process, and we are all learning what works for us along the way.

Your numbers seem a bit arbitary. How did you come up with 1200 for your end goal? Also, will you be eating back calories?

Good job on the 60 lbs down and maintaining 40 of it! Sounds like you are on the right track :D
