Sometimes I'll follow a small meal by something strong in flavor to get the taste out of my mouth- my fav is a Claussen pickle. I can cut a burger in half and not reach for the second half if I eat one of those garlic loaded pickles! That way I get to keep eating (I don't think gum would have the same effect for me personally) but get my mind to stop obsessing about the rest of the burger or more of whatever I was eating. I also load up on TONS of water throughout the meal. At a restaurant, it'll be water with lemon or, at my work desk or home, I flavor water with Mio orange/tangerine or Dasani pineapple/coconut.0

I'm on day 1 also and I am starrrrrving. OK not really but I am hungry and I've eaten plenty of fat and protein.
We just gotta push through. It gets easier.0
