Core problems! :(

Hello everyone!
So I recently got a tattoo on my foot so I cant exactly put on shoes and go to spin or run like I used to. And on top of that my core is my problem. I am looking to lose weight and tighten up my core. I am larger chested (I'll be honest) and I do tend to slouch and curl my shoulders in.
And suggestions for core strengthening work outs I can do at home while my foot heals. Things to help me lose weight, sit up straighter and have better posture.
** I don't have any work out equipment at home other than some 3, 5, and 8 pound weights.

Yoga! You do it barefoot (so no problem there)
It can definitely improve your posture. One time after a restorative yoga class I decided to do the dishes and I COULD NOT slouch. My back was straight, my shoulders back and everything...aligned.
It was magical. It is why I think regardless of my fitness excursions in the future, I will always do yoga.
Also...they have lots of yoga poses that will strengthen your core.
You can do it at home or in a class. If you do a class, I would recommend something with 'hatha' or 'vinyasa' in the description.
Oh, and pretty tattoo!0 -
