Another FAB question of mine... What do you normally eat for breakfast? AND for those who drink a meal replacement which one do you take????

Thanks :)

Weekdays, I go for porridge oats and semi-skim milk. On the weekend probably a couple of eggs or an omelette.

    I alternate oatmeal and Shakeology.

The oatmeal has 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, and some cinnamon.

The Shakeology is 1 scoop of the chocolate flavor shake with 1 cup of almond milk and 1/2 cup fresh strawberries.

Yeah...I love me some strawberries, lol!

Always the same, 2 egg whites with 2 Tbs Jimmy Dean turkey sausage crumbles. Boring...I know, but it is less than 100 cal and filling. Leaves me more calories for lunch:wink:

Breakfast is the hardest for me because I'm HUNGRY in the morning so it never fails that I fix myself a 300-400 cal meal and since my goal is 1200 cal/day thats a lot of calories for 1 meal! If I eat less then I'm starving well before time to eat a little snack. Any good ideas for a low cal filling breakfast?
  • My new thing since I hardly have time to make breakfast is McDonalds Oatmeal w/o brown sugar cause the fruit gives it a sweet taste, or the yoplait frozen mix for a shake, add a cup of fat free milk & it will give you 3 servings.

I make a home made egg mcmuffin thing..
I spray pam in a coffee cup beat 1 egg (microwave for like 45 seconds to cook egg)
toast a whole wheat high fiber english muffin and spread on some FF cream cheese/laughing cow cheese/ or a slice of low fat cheese..
if i have some sliced ham i add that too.. its cost effective fast and tasty just about 300 calories.. i measure stuff.. so anyways.. it works for me.. and it keeps me full.

I make a 3 egg-white omelet with spinach, tomatoes, onions and a tablespoon of shredded cheese, and if I'm super hungry, half a deli-round with a tiny amount of real butter. It's under 250 calories and very satisfying.

if i work out in the morning i have this size up shake.. but only half the serving because its more calories and protein/carbs that i need to take in.. but anyways.. i have that shake if i have worked out in the morning.. it fills you up and is a great meal replacement. if you do half the serving its like 300 calories 23 grams of protein and 50carbs.. its great to replinish your self after a work out.. it also keeps you full long.
