Help me pick an activity level please :-)

I was working before and on my feet most of the day, some lifting at work, etc. So I had my activity level set to Lightly Active and logged any exercise in addition to that. I'm currently not working now though, but I'm home with a toddler. I do light cooking, cleaning, and taking care of a little one all day. Should I move my activity level to sedentary? I don't sit around all day, but I wanna make sure my calorie goal is as accurate as possible. Thanks! :-)

If you have a toddler that you are chasing after and still on your feet more than sitting on your butt all day, then I would keep it set to lightly active.

I mean it also depends on the rate that you were losing before when your goal was set to lightly active. If you were not happy with that, then go with sedentary.

    Trial and error.

I wouldn't change it yet. Taking care of a toddler is exhausting and demanding, I would think lightly active would be fine! If your progress slows maybe re-evaluate it then.

sounfs like you are at the right rating. Chasing around a little on is work! Good luck and keep your activity at a positive pace

Thanks for everyone's input! I think I'll leave it at lightly active and see if my weight loss stalls or not and adjust accordingly. Thanks again! Sometimes it's just nice to hear another's opinion.

Lightly active. Sedentary means just that.

Get a fitbit and not have to worry about it maybe? Plus, the fitbit will motivate you to get more active.
