Sooo basically I've just finished my first week of uni (whoooo freshers!!), and just looking for some advice and support. I have really detrailed, eating and drinking quite a lot. That is NOT because of the whole "Leaving home and cooking my own food" because I did that anyways. It is because I have been so busy that I haven't had time to cook proper meals, and also STUDYING makes me SO hungry!!
I really want to join the cheerleading team because I went to the trials and it was SO much fun!! Could anyone tell me how hard it is? I've never really done gymnastics or anything like that (but go to the gym a lot), so I feel I might be a bit rubbish at it...
I have a gym membership for the uni gym, but haven't been yet because I've been so busy. I want to join the cheerleaders (they train 4 times a week) and the horse riding team (train once a week/fortnight)
On top of all that I'm studying medicine!! I don't think I have time for all the things I want to do (as well as actually have a social life and see my boyfriend), so the stress of trying to fit everything in has lead to some pretty bad food choices this week.
I'm really worried about the tragic "freshers 15"! I don't want to gain weight, would be nice to lose some, but I'm happy to maintain. I know it's only been a week, but it's made me really upset with myself because I've not been as healthy as I know I can be, and I've been worse than usual one week is easily fixable I know but I just need someone to tell me that...
Just looking for some advice on what I should do?? Thanks :flowerforyou:

Good God, woman! Could you pile more stuff on your plate? Narrow down your list of things you want to do!
Studying comes first. Before friends, before boyfriend, before weight loss and before everything. Especially if you're planning on medical school, you need to learn to make school the #1 thing in your life.
Find the other smart kids and make a study group. Learning to navigate who to include in your study group each semester will serve you well later!!! Acquire those skills now. There's a tip nobody else will give you.
After school, I'd go with including friends, boyfriend, and weight loss. Maybe one other activity, if you're very lucky.
A lot of kids view uni as the time to make mistakes, have fun, get drunk, etc. the smart ones view it as the time to study hard, kick *kitten* on grades and start preparing for life.
Good luck!!!0
