Does anyone use this? I can find any information on calories burned, it just lists "power points" and accuracy...

I just did a solid 40 minute intense work out but don't know how many calories to put into my workout tracker....

anyone?

Please help!

Is it circuit training like her other videos? Do you do a few moves and then repeat?

its a wii video game, but yes it is circuit training. I did 2 runs, 3 sets of sledge swings, 3 set of push ups, 2 sets of back kicks, 2 set of water pumps, and one other exercise...

Hmm, well if it's a video game, I have no idea. Sorry.

its truly frustrating because i figured it would give you an estimated amount of calories burned. the exercises are quit intense and I bust my *kitten* doing them. According to the app on my phone 40 minutes of "circuit training" would equate to about 700 calories burned...but i don't know what this "circuit training" contains.

here are the exercises on the game:
Cardio Training: Swing Kicks, Obliques, Jumping Jacks, Hip Twists, Water Pump, Running, Bicycle
Strength Training: Push-Ups, Crunches, Pelvic Thrust, Side Planks, Side Lunges, Sledge Swing, Back Kick w/ Shoulder Press, Boat Pose, Lunge Kick

    Yesterday's Circuit was:
Running (approx 5 1/2 minutes of me jogging in a circle around my living room) Pushups (25) Sledge Swing (20/ (2 swings for 1 complete rep) Back Kick (20/2 kicks for 1 complete rep) Water Pump (20)

Running/push ups (35)/Sledge Swing (40)/Back Kick(20)Water Pump (20)//Boat Pose (20)//30 second knee to chest stretch

    Sledge Swing(20)/ Push Ups (25)/Back Kick(20)Water Pump(20)

About 40 minutes total, and me sweating profuesly and panting like a dog.

Any Ideas how many calories i could count this as burning? I don't want my counts to be off.

The fact it doesn't give you a read out is one of the only true downfalls of the game.

Well, it sounds like circuit training, but I'm not sure it really burns 700 calories. The best way to tell would be to get a heart rate monitor, but that's not in everyone's budget. It sounds tough, and she is a beast, but it's hard to say. It's odd that the game doesn't give you some sort of estimate. I guess if nothing else, you could count it as general aerobics. That will be less calories than circuit training, but still a good amount. Sorry, I know I'm not really helping, lol, I just don't know what to tell you.

Thanks for replying anyways!! I know now that my assumption that i burned 700 calories in 40 minutes wasn't right! LOL. I just wish it gave an estimate. I emailed the makers of the game to find out if im just missing it somewhere!

Well, it sounds like you were still burning some calories, and every time I've done a Jillian Michaels workout, I've burned almost exactly the amount of calories MFP gives me for circuit training (I know because I now have a heart rate monitor) but I've never played this game, so I can't really tell you. I wouldn't underestimate it too much, especially if you were sweating and panting, but it's definitely not a good idea to overestimate the calories you burned, especially if you eat your exercise calories.

Hey Phil! I was just looking for the same info. I just started JMFU2010 and I am doing 20 minutes and the calorie thing says 44 calories. Seriously? I busted my butt and I feel it. But 44 can't be all? Did you ever find any info? I've been looking for info online...I'll let ya know if I find any
