I was just watching Dr. Oz show this morning and he was talking about the importance of getting outside. So, today I decided to go on a nice, long walk on the trails at a local park. It was freezing cold but still worth it. My dog got a nice workout too!

Anybody else getting outside today? What did you do for exercise?

I did. I took a 30 minute walk with my dog. It's SO cold out and there is ice and snow all over the sidewalks and I fell, lol. It was still nice to get out but maybe I'll use some skies next time :)

Ouch! Good for you for still getting out there and walking though. I thought I was going to fall too, so that's why I went to the park instead of my neighborhood. It was a way less slippery there.

I think I'm going to take my dog for another walk today....

    Wow sjd200. You inspire me.
  • I didn't get outside. I've got some exercise equipment in my garage and it's FUH-REEZING in there. It's nice to feel your skin heat up while the cold weather cools you down.

I like going to the park to walk too, but I didn't do it today.
