Thoughts on "cleansing" ?

    The only 'cleanses' I know about involve strong laxatives and/or an enema.

    I suggest you discuss this with whoever you are seeing for your eating disorder.
    I am sure they will be very pressed. And yes, op has an ED and as usual everyone has failed to glance at his profile, post history or profile picture to realise this.
    You honestly should not be on this site op as you are clearly using it as a tool to further your anorexia.

    My thoughts? I think the best thing for you is cleansing your mind of the concept of a "cleanse" or "detox." As others have pointed out, our bodies naturally take care of this effectively with or without our attention. Those are made-up buzzwords created mainly for the purpose of taking your money.

    But let's call it what it is: Only drinking water for a day is called fasting. There can be reasons to do such a thing, but "cleansing" is not one of them.

    Edit: Other posters have brought to light that you suffer from an eating disorder. If that is true, fasting probably isn't a good idea either.
