Hello everyone, I have recently been holding to a schedule of 3 workout days, 3 hockey practice days, and 1 resting day a week. It has come to my attention that while this has help me drop some weight I think I am holding back. So with that in mind I am looking to begin to do workouts on my hockey practice days as well! I'm just wondering is this too much an example would be a 30 minute workout (not decided what kind) earlier in the day at least 12 hours before hand and then and hour to an hour and a half hockey practice.
If I do do this what sort of workout should I do on those days? As hockey is mostly leg intensive does that mean I should work my upper body, or should I do a full body workout? Thanks for the responses ahead of time give any advice you think would help me, I am new to the whole workout scene outside of having dry-land for hockey.
