Lunchtime Workout Suggestions!

Hey Y'all!

This week I've lost 7lbs! I'm super excited about that, and although I can tell a lot of that has come off my legs, only 0.5ins has come off my hips - no change in chest or waist. So I'm getting worried that I've lost muscle, which is not good! I've haven't lifted in a while to be honest, and I want to change that.

My gym is just 6 minutes from my office. I know I won't get there before work, and after work is really awkward because I have dance classes. Lunch time would be perfect, as it would prevent those Starbucks visits, but still get me out of the office for a proper break. I probably have around 30 minutes total to work out.

So - what should my priority be? Bench presses are definitely on my list. Shoulder presses too. I would like to include lunges too, but I've been having a knee issue lately so I may have to sideline those for a while. I usually do goblet squats with a dumbbell so those are on the list.

Any other suggestions? I want to hit as many muscles as possible, with as much weight as I can….in 30 minutes.

I think you're asking for a list of exercises, but i would follow a *program*, because programs covers all the important details like the proper order of the exercises, the number of sets per muscle group, progressions, deloads, substitutions, etc. Programs mentioned here a lot include NROL and Stronglifts, both of which can be shaved down to 30 minutes. Or work with a trainer and get a customized program.

By the way, split squats tend to be a bit easier on the knees than lunges.
