App for planning a run

What's a good app for plotting a run before you do it, so you can work out the distance before you set out.

I found this to be very useful.

endomondo.com is a great one too! They have an app and a website :-) You can also look at other routes people have done and follow those. Also has challenges to help keep you going, if you want to accept them!!

I planned my routes on google pedometer so I had maps for different distance runs, I don't have an app though.

Endomondo, Runkeeper and Strava all allow you to. MapMyFitness also allows you to do it, but personally I wouldn't recommend that one as I've had consistent problems with it.

    I'd recommend Endomondo or Strava.

Thanks everyone. I used one ages ago but can't remember what it was. With this one, you could only create routes on the computer. With Endomondo, can you do it on the app?
