Macro Protein Question

I'm reading that the recommended amount of protein for women is around 45gm but according to macro calculators I should be eating 120gms. Why is there such a big difference?

    It's up to you. There are different suggests. 1 gram per pound of lean body mass, .8 for that, etc. I just try to eat all the protein and I still don't make my goal all the time.
