tramadol and weight gain

took 100mg of tramadol yesterday and woke up this morning 2.5lbs heavier. i know it's a false reading because i only had less than 300 calories yesterday (i'm in pain and have no appetite).
obviously i know that it's not actual weight gain, but i don't look or feel bloated. has anyone else experienced this temporary weight gain on tramadol or any other opioids?

    nah i know it's not actual weight gain - i don't gain unless i eat above 1800, i was just wondering if i could have water retention from the tramadol, so it's a comfort that you mentioned that. thanks again
