Need to get fit for upcoming run.

Hi, by normal standards, my weight is good, but both of my daughters are running a marathon in a couple of months. I usually run the associated half marathon with their race. Last time, I was 15 pounds over my optimal racing weight, and finished, but not as well as I would like. My goal is to be at that good racing weight for this next half marathon. I stumbled on this plan when the local paper printed a story about a high school principal in my town that lost 100 pounds using it. Today is day 6 for me and I am loving it. Look forward to reading the encouraging posts.
