Hi. I have started working out at the gym and it states that I only burn on the elliptical for my weight 30min= 328 cal. But the myfitness pal app has my burn 604. I do not put in that I am a female, or my height. only age and weight. Thank you for any help.

Adjust it in your work out log to read what you actually burned, not what MFP says you did. As you said, it has no idea how big you are. That could be a burn that someone who was much bigger than you burned. Or someone who went at a much higher level on the elliptical for a higher rate of burn.
Just put in what you actually burned.0
