Extra Calories Earned ???

Hello, I need some advice. I started with all this today. I set everything up and got going. Well I worked out like I normally do everyone morning, well when I put this information in , it told me that I had earned an extra 533 calories for the day. I am suppose to eat 1200 a day. Which honeslty is alot for me. I am not a big eater at all !!! I had gulbladder problems for years and learned to not over eat. You wouldnt think I would be overweight !! But I am s.. So question is. Do I have to use them extra calories? I dont want to thats for sure. But I am concerned because in the past I have always been told I do not eat enough, so my body is hanging on to what it has. But believe me I am never hungry. I usually stay around 700-1000 a day. I just dont eat high calorie or fat and hardly NO carbs. So will this hurt my progress if I dont eat the extra calories? Because I work out like this 4-5 days a week. It is a Major Intense BootCamp workout for 50 min and then I do 15 min of kickboxing and 15 min of abs. Thats for right now. So any suggestions would be appreciated. Good luck to all of you.

If you are working out, you need to fuel your body. If you have been in starvation mode in the past, you are definitely eating too little.0

Here's a link to a long but worthwhile post that explains why those "extra" calories aren't "extra".

the 1200 calores is to lose your goal amount of weight before exercise is considered. If you eat 1200 and burn 500, it is as if you only at 700 (1200-500) and the minimum you should eat is 1200 Nest (calories consumed minus calories burned through exercise) So in your case you would have to eat 1733 to get your 1200 Net (1733-533)0

I just want to thank everyone. Viviakay: Thanks that really helped me, I appreciate it. I am going to try my hardest to eat these calories in a nutritional way of course. But we will see. I guess I am more so scared of if I up my food intake I will gain weight. But believe it or not I do not gain weight easily. I have always been thin around 119 until I had my last child 4 yrs ago. I had my gulbladder taken out 4 months ago "finally". I have plateaud since November 2009 at 154 not going up or down in weight no matter what I ate. But my eating habits are i think a little to strict. I had journaled my calories for 2 weeks and I was at a average of 800 a day. And I was working out .
But again I want to Thank you all.0 -

You might see the scale go up a little once you start eating AT LEAST 1200 calories per day. That's your metabolism adjusting. Then the weight will start coming off. I was the same way. I could go all day with no food and not feel hungry - probably the coffee. Now I have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes even snacks.0
