this is all new to me so I could use all the help I can get !!!

  • I joined a gym a few years ago and a trainer said to eat a small snack to give energy maybe 15-30 minutes beforehand. I suggested a banana or cheese stick. Something like that would be good.
  • Barb is right...to the best of my knowledge, even eating a simple piece of toast beforehand is best because it gets your metabolism to start burning again. Without a food source to start with, your metabolism will take longer to figure out that it is in workout mode, not survival mode. Good luck!
