after 2 months of steady weight loss, I go to the gym and weigh in after my workout and I gained 2 pounds! and I've been staying strict with my calories and exercise! is it possible I put on 2 pounds of muscle in a week? oh well, I'm thinking to step up the cardio or drop the calories a little more.

Or it's retained water from sodium. Don't stress!

Probably just water, weight is tricky that way. You should give it a week before you start changing your routine.

    potassium and h2o... stat!
  • Must be muscle, I was like that now. I plateau and I forgot to measure my body. My doctor said muscle weigh more than fat so I need to work harder and push my limit to lose weight. Good luck!:-)

I would just wait a day or two and weigh again. It could just be a 'blip'.
