Do I have to eat all of my daily calories?

When I don't eat all of my calories, it tells me that my body will go into starvation mode. If I'm eating my workout calories, won't I just stay at a stand still?
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

MFP puts your deficit into your calorie goals before any exercise is considered - the exercise calories are extra that are supposed to be eaten to maintain the deficit you selected as your goal.
Read this post - it explains all this thorougly and answers even more you didn't even know you had yet!

I had the same kind of question, but it doesn't say it if you EAT enough calories and then exercise it down, so I think that's how you avoid starvation mode and still keep up the weight loss:exercise!0

You want ZEROS at the bottom of your Food Diary at the end of the day......Eat the calories.0

I eat all of my cals and half of my workout cals. This seems to work for me. I also give myself a break and eat all of them sometimes. Switching it up seems to help!0

MFP won't give you the starvation message as long as you eat at least 1200 calories, but if you exercise a ton and don't eat those back it's still unhealthy. For example, if you're only eating 1200, but burning 600 then you only leave yourself with 600 calories for normal daily functioning - that's not enough. You're supposed to eat the calories you earn through exercise. Read some of the links that have been posted to get a better understanding of all this.0 -
Thanks everyone for the replies! I'll be sure and read those links too.0
