ok guys, I am having surgery in july and my surgeon said that I wont be able to workout or go to the gym for ATLEAST 4-6 weeks. Problem is the gym is my "drug of choice". That's like telling a crack head that they have to lay off the crack for a month and a half.LOL!!! I need some ideas on how to keep myself occupied while i'm laid up on the couch. I'm thinking of stealing my son's ps2 from him but I can only handle so much of that.

I feel your pain. I too will be having surgery later this year and keep putting it off for this exact reason. I love going to the gym and working out and am not sure how to handle it. Especially since I'm scared that boredom will make me eat. If and when I finally bite the bullet, I'm thinking books for me as I can't figure out my son's PSP. So once you're through it, if you have any good suggestion, shoot them my way and maybe it will inspire me to get done what I need to get done.
