Hey all, finally back to basics and working hard for my Wedding in June. Yippee! I may have left it a little late, but as they say better late than never.
The weight loss has been done before but this time round its harder, but remebering how good being slimmer feels is my true motivation. (And also wanting to look great in those wedding pics).
I have booked in with a personal trainer at my local gym, even though it is expensive, it really does help that they provide you that extra little bit of motivation and crack the whip on you! Money well spent I say.

I am currently at 128kg with my ultimate goal aimed at 80kg for the time being, but to lose atleast 25-30kg pre June 26th 2011.

Look forward to all your support in the coming months to keep my little chocolate demon at bay!

Good for you! Trainers are great for motivation (and someone to be accountable to) but they also show you how to do your exercises with the best form so you get the most out of each rep. I had a trainer reposition my arms closer to my body when I was working my triceps and it's amazing how much better I was working the muscle after that. Trainers will keep your body in proper form while you work out so you don't hurt yourself and get sidelined. Good luck!

One suggestion for that chocolate demon: learn to drink unsweetened beverages. When I stopped putting sweetener in my coffee and tea and cut myself down to one diet soda per day (my after-dinner "dessert"), I stopped craving the sweets! Unbelievable, I know. I think the sweet taste that was constantly in my mouth just made me want more.
  • Yes, absolutely, my trainer kicks my bum in to gear and makes sure I am up at 6 in the morning for a solid workout. Oww my legs are aching today.

Knittygirl - ooo I have tried to do tea without sugar....eeek! As for the fizzy drinks, I cant remeber the last time I had one. I stopped having fizzy drinks probably just over 3 years ago. Good old water the way to go.
