Hi, I am new to this site and I just read your post. I too quit smoking but I just did it this week and I have to say...I am so afaid to gain a bunch of weight, in fact that has been the only reason I continued to smoke as long as I have just so I WOULDN'T gain weight. But we all know that is not healthy. I just started taking Chantix on Sunday to help in my goal to be a non smoker for good. I've been told that I may gain weight on the medicine as well
I think I will really need a good support system because this will be the largest battle I have ever had to fight lol.
Well, thank you for your post...it seems as though you have been a non smoker now for over a year so CONGRATS TO YOU!!! Someday, I will be able to say I have been a non smoker for over a year0
