    Thanks, Tami.
Thankfully it's nothing major, just all the little things adding up. The fact that he works at night and sleeps during the day (he's a VERY light sleeper) while I have to try to keep the 5 kids quiet doesn't help my mood any when he gets up wanting to know why I haven't done this and haven't done that. Just really needed to vent before I lose my temper with him and say something that will just make things worse.. Thanks.

I don't know if that will help you or not but if the weather was nice my mom always took us on walks/hikes that my dad could rest in peace. And if he askes why you didn't do whatever tell hi m you will do it when he is up as not to disturb his sleep. If that doesn't help put nightquil in whatever he drinks bevore he goes to bed in the morning:devil:

LOL I SOOO feel you pain! For 4 years, my husband worked nothing but midnights. It was REALLY REALLY hard keeping my now 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son quiet ALL day. Finally, I told him to either get some ear plugs or go to his mom's. LOL That shut him up for a while.
But now I have a new problem....he's been laid off for almost 3 months....Do you know what THAT means?!?!?! He's HOME.....24/7!!! Goodbye quiet time....Goodbye alone time.... *sigh* I love him...I really do...but I can't WAIT until he goes back to work!!! I've not been able to read with out interruption for 3 months! I can't get on here & log my food & exercise with out him complaining or standing over my shoulder... AGH!
    *Sigh* I totally understand!

Hubby got a pretty good job a year ago, but before that he was out of work for about 7 months. I know exactly what you're talking about. I don't know how retired people stand each other.

When my husband worked nights he would wear ear plugs to sleep during the day. He realized the rest of is world is awake during the day. Wearing the ear plugs was our compromise. Maybe you could suggest that to your husband? It really isn't fair to stress you out trying to make 5 kids be quit...that's nearly impossible to do without making one crazy!

When my dad was a day sleeper he'd wear ear plugs. Also, the windows in my parents bedroom got covered with two layers of black trash bags to block out the sun.
