I got Turbo Jam Last week and I have done it this week. It is awesome. I am doing the learn and burn and the 20 minute until I get the hang of it. Yesterday I did the Turbo Strength training and then did a Tae BO tape and I am so sore today.... It was a struggle to get through the whole Tae bo tape after doing the strength training video.... But I can say that my muscles were pushed to the limit... Can any one tell me if it is okay to do strength and cardio on the same day? I felt so good after.

I find that I can do cardio without strength - although I prefer to do both.

But I can't do strength first and then no cardio... my muscles tense up and I feel restless allllll day long!!

My workouts usually consist of a 5-10 minute warmup, followed by about half an hour of strength, followed by another half an hour of cardio. If I don't have the time for all of that, I'll still do a short warmup plus shortened weights and less after-cardio... or skip the weights altogether and get a good cardio burn in!

But yes, I definitely prefer to do both. You're not alone in that!

The trainer I see says light cardio first (10 minute warm up), weights, and then if you are going to do a big cardio workout, do it last. His reasoning is if you exhaust your muscles before strength training, you won't get as good a workout and may not be able to lift as much or as many.
