dressing rooms may as well be called "truth" rooms

I was so pumped this morning - beat my weight loss goal for the week and it's only Thursday! Then I went to a clothing store to try on dresses for a wedding and I hated the reflection instantly. I had more chub on my waist and legs than I realized. What is it about the lighting in those rooms that makes you feel so much fatter? Booooo. Made my "big" progress seem so puny.

do not let that get you down! you have made great progress! I know it feel awful to "see" that but the lighting and mirrors in those palce in fact in most retail places are horrible... you would think some marketing genius would fix that...
be proud of what you have done... each journey begins w/ a single step and you are well on your way

I HATE THOSE. you feel good when you go in to try new clothes AND then BAM you regret it. You see all your imperfections.

If they had better lighting or something that would make you buy more clothes

you are making progress that counts. keep it up. Remember how you felt before you started.

I really cant believe that they put such a bad light in there. I mean, if it was better, it would make you feel prettier, and you would buy their stuff, no? But its really bad, and its like you can see every wrinkle, every little mistake on your body. Its horrible.

I haaaate how I look in the dressing room!!! And I am someone who loves how my body looks now!! But put me in a dressing room and the lighting creates all sorts of unforgiving shadows on my stomach and thighs :-( don't worry about it though, no other lighting is like that haha
