I just hope you are aware of the BPA issue currently going on. Try to buy fresh or frozen before canned if at all possible.

Pretty interesting and informative study here:

  • I could not get your article to pull up. If you are talking about the chemicals that are leeched into our food, I would love to read it. WE , (meaning my husband and I) are very aware of the chemicals that are leeched out of plastics. We use glass containers. We also have APEC water filters . People do not realize that the bottled water they drink is just only fractions different from the tap water they drink. I am going to try again to get it to pull up. Thanks for posting and making people aware.
  • Thank you very much for the heads up!

    About this...

I just read another article on this topic yesterday (yes, I read a lot of articles), and it's a surprising joke, bottled water. Most companies won't even divulge which methods are used to "purify" their water even when asked, if it's purified at all. Experts say your best bet is to invest in a filtration system at home (tap, pitcher, etc.) and filter your own tap water. Also check with your water company in your area and find the results of their water analyses to see just how bad your tap water is and what contaminants are in it.

    Interesting points about this topic:

To search for your city's tap water results, use this link:

And enter your zip code on the right hand side and search.
