How do I change/know how many calories I should have?

Hi Guys!

On MFP how do I change how many calories I should consume?
and how do you know how many to consume? haa help!

    go to the GOALS section of the profile, put in your height, weight & goal weight. Put in your activity level & how often you're going to workout. It will tell you how many you need to lose 1lb, 2lbs, gain 1b, maintain etc.

    I have found that a general rule is your goal weight x10
    for example
    goal
    130
    x 10
    ____
    1300
    then 45% from carbs or 1300 x .45= 585 calories divided by 4.5 grams per calorie = 130grams daily
    20% fat or 1300 x .20 = 260 divided by 9g per calorie = 28 grams
    with the remaining 35% protien......1300 x .35 = 455 divided by 4.5 grams per calorie = 101 grams daily
