  • I grew up drinking green tea so I love it. But it's got all kinds of crazy health benefits. Check this out from WebMD:

"It's difficult not to gush about green tea.

More than a decade's worth of research about green tea's health benefits -- particularly its potential to fight cancer and heart disease -- has been more than intriguing, as have limited studies about green tea's role in lowering cholesterol, burning fat, preventing diabetes and stroke, and staving off dementia."

:) I prefer to drink it piping hot!

What do you sweetn it with? and how many cups do you drink a day?
  • I wouldn't recommend really sweetening green tea (unless you genuinley cannot drink it without, in which case use a bit of honey) as it basically defeats the purpose of drinking it. I don't like it strong, so I remove the teabag after 30 - 60 secs.
Green tea contains caffeine too, so try drinking Decaf - it doesn't affect the health benefits.
And I drink it warm :)
  • i drink all my tea without any sweeteners. that's how my culture drinks it. besides... i really don't have any kind of a sweet tooth, even as a kid i didnt! (i drink my coffee black too.) i happen to like slightly bitter flavors, so i actually never remove the teabag. i cut the strings and let the bag steep indefinitely. however, i wouldnt recommend non-tea lovers to do that! that might just gross you out!

and... since im a bit of a tea nut.... i tend to drink exorbitant amts of tea. LOL.... i can drink anywhere from 4-10 cups of teas a day (green tea, jasmine tea, grey tea, black tea, chai tea, peppermint tea, etc....)

so maybe im not really that helpful to you. LOL...
