Has anyone heard or tried this exercise system? Just wondered if it's as good as the imfomercial said. Looks good, but don't all those gimmics and scams?!

Its good, and works really well. However, its not meant for people who are out of shape - its a system made to take people who are already in great shape and put them into greek-god(ess) shape. I'll be using it once I hit my goal weight and I've got another year or so of gym experience under my belt.

This is an advanced program for people who already have a routine and are looking to go to the next level. It has a system called P90 that is a starting block for people who don't have a set workout plan. Beachbody.com (where I first heard of the programs) has a variety of workouts that all will get you results.

    Barb,
the Power 90 program is a great start if you are not already setup on a workout program that requires you work out 6 days a week for no less than 30 minutes per workout. My husband and I completed the 3 month power 90 workout and have now graduated to P90x. It's tough even with the 3 months of P90 experience - it is a totally awesome program and I have every faith that if the program is followed, the results the informercial show will be obtained. I will impart some advice (learned the hard way) - follow the eating guide. If you do not follow the eating guide and you only do the workout, you will not see the results that you are expecting. My husband and I did not follow the eating guide when participating in power90, so despite the fact that we are in *much* better shape and very heart healthy, we did not make huge gains in the weight-loss sector of our goals. This time around, we are following the eating guide to ensure that we see the results we want. We decided to get the P90x (Power 90 Extreme) workout because the P90 (Power90) had become somewhat redundant. With the P90x system, you get 12 different workouts, so you won't get bored.
    Best of luck!!
