My daughter just started chemo yesterday...I am beyond stressed out and have been feeling pretty crummy lately. I would like to hit my goal weight by the time she finishes her treatment (about a year). I am looking for a work out that I can do at home, that doesn't take too long, and I can split up if she needs me. I also had a c section 6 months ago so it needs to be low impact to begin with....Maybe even something someone can do with me (for motivation) Ideas?

  • I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through and God Bless your angel! My heart goes out to you sincerely!! As far as workouts I walk and do Zumba which is a really fun dance workout(trust me you don't really have to know how to dance that great to do it!!) Just get out there and move! The only other thing I know that probably wouldn't be to bad is swimming. Don't know how that would work for you hun. Plus I don't have kids so I have no idea what so ever how you are feeling after your C-Section. Sorry I couldn't be more help. :flowerforyou:

This summer you and I are going to go running together, that's what we're going to do!! We're going to start in spring. Until then, I can lend you my Jillian Michael's dvd, offer to watch the kiddos, and let you have some Mommy time! Seriously, after I had Jakob, I just knew I HAD to lose weight. I didn't want to be unhappy with myself. I started here and there on the treadmill or with a dvd. Biggest thing was cutting calories at first, to tell you the truth. Bella wants her mommy to be happy, and you need to do what makes you happy. Watching her go through this is tough, but when she pulls through in the end, you are going to want everything to fall into place. I'm here for you!!
