What % carb, protein & fat?

I recently joined and am still trying to figure everything out here. I set my goals but am finding the protein allowance to be a little low.

What is a good % for daily intake of protein, fat & carbs?

    I just posted yesterday about a USDA site that might be helpful in things like this--might want to check it out.

    You can go to the USDA Pyramid site and get a good idea. They have a great FREE feature now where you can 'build your own food pyramid" based upon USDA diet guidelines, your age, sex, physical activity, etc. I used it to at least get some base idea but had to modify mine because of my diabetes. Still, it gave me some idea anyway. Then you can modify MFP's guidelines from there.

    I really did like though that if you put in your figures and you're overweight, then it also gives links to safe weight loss tips and stuff.

    mine says that I should eat 50 but I get about 120 a day. but I need more b/c I do weight lifting for an hour a day.
