This past weekend has been the only truly successful (no cheats at all) one that I've had in a while. What I found that I did different was I made a bigger effort to plan meals and snacks and I stuck to what I planned. I also think that I didn't binge because on friday I planned in an ice cream sundae for one of my snacks and that helped with any cravings! It was awesome because since I planned it, I excercised a lot on friday and didn't go over my calories, but still killed any of my cravings! I hope this helped...it just takes planning!

Yeah, I guess we tend to eat out more on the weekends instead. Thanks! happy0158.gif

    Same issue here....
I don't eat out tons on the weekend but my family has tons of get-togethers which is a pain cause none of us are on the same page when it comes to diet/food choices.
For example, it doesn't matter that I made a weight watchers dessert for tomorrow when other members of my family are brining potato and macaroni salad. We are constantly contradicting each other.

I am in the "off wagon" mode but trying to keep it under control and do what I can.

Weekends are a killer, even with the best of intentions.

Weekends are the worst!!! Between alcohol (which I have totally given up during the week!), the requisite eating out with my in-laws, and my husband's tempting cooking, it's really tough. I do a lot of exercise to mostly keep up with it, but I KNOW it's not good to earn 700 cals from exercise and use every last one of them on drinks. :drinker:

Oh well. I'm choosing frivolity and happiness over faster weight loss I suppose.

I cannot make it through the weekends without cheating. It sucks. Kari, you and me should hang out! I do the same thing... drink up all my exercise cals. This weekend I was especially bad though. Cake was involved, lets just leave it at that. I went to the gym today for 2 hours to try to work some of it off. :noway:

You think I learned my lesson? Nah! I'll probably do it again next weekend! :drinker:
