Weighing myself tomorrow for the 1st time in the week i've been here just wondering i notice many people say they lose anything from 3-4lbs the first week mostly ater weight if i just lose my normal expected weight loss does that mean i didnt have much water weight or that i will prob lose less over the next few weeks cos that 1lb was my water weight ?

Don't worry too much about the number, we are all different and the water and change in eating habits vary from person to person. I have never lost 3-4 pounds in one week in my life. I am a steady Eddie, lol. There are weeks that I don't lose at all and then I will lose two a week for a while. Our bodies are very adaptable and focus less on the number and more on the journey. We are trying to develop a new lifestyle so that takes time and is more important than quick weight loss.

Everyone is different - you can't just go by the number. How do you feel after a week? More energy, more focused? A friend of mine and I started our lifestyle change on the same day. We were roommates and ate basically the same things, exercised the same - and I lost 6 lbs the first week, she stayed the same. It took her body a couple weeks to adjust so there's no real predictors. The only thing that you can count on is that if you continue to eat healthy, exericise and burn more calories than you take in, you will lose the weight eventually. Just doesn't usually happen as quickly as we like.

    Good luck!
