i know that weight can fluctuate daily but this is driving me mental
before going away for xmas i was doing the 30day shred and eating 1200cals a day and was steadily losing up to 1/2lb a day
, i maintained a 1200cal level throughout xmas even though i couldn't get online to log it all, got home and i had lost 1/2lb in the week i wasn't doing it
started the 30day shred again a few days ago and since then i have gained 2lb!!
i just don't get it...it's a steady 1/2lb a day gain....
how can i have lost 1/2 a lb a day before, yet be gaining 1/2lb a day now??

Did you take a break from exercising over the holidays? If you haven't done a strenuous workout in a while, it is common for your muscles to retain a bit of water when you start again. It will disappear after your body gets used to exercising again.0

It could be water weight.
It's best not to weigh yourself daily so you don't get discouraged like this. Just keep up the hard work and you will see the results. Try weighting only once (MAYBE twice) a week. I know it's hard. The scale practically screams my name as I walk by it, but I have to force myself to refrain.
Keep working hard and you'll get there0 -
i hadn't considered water weight tbh! i was unable to do anything besides basic walking while away as i was staying at family homes
i hope you guys are right and it's just water weight cos i get married in a week and can't afford a weight gain! lol0 -
My weight flactuates a lot! No kidding! It can vary 2 lbs in one day. I only consider I am loosing weight when for 2 consectives day I have the same weight around the same time. For example the scale is saying I lost 5lbs last week, but I doubt it, so i considering 3lbs. Also I will not weight myself around and when I am in my period, forget it, b/c I retain a lot of water! Don't stress over it. You are not doing nothing wrong, keeping working out and dieting. Stress can make it worse.0
