Help!!!

I'm day 4 into this and have yet to reach my calories!! I'm still breastfeeding so when I add that in, it automatically adds an extra 300 calories that I'm supposed to eat!! I know I need to be eating my calories to prevent starvation mode, but when I get in the mindset that I'm gonna diet.. I tend to focus on low calorie low fat foods.. I'm thinking I need some higher calorie low fat foods? The last couple days I had added unhealthy calories and fat due to a homemade Italian cream birthday cake made by my best friend!! :-) should I decrease the amount of calories I'm supposed to intake? I left it at what MFP set.. But my intake starts at -300 because of the BFing.. So I've really had 300 more than what's listed in my diary.. HELP!!!
