Low Caloreis Low Carb but HIGH Sodium!

Options
Hello, I have been really been focused on keeping my calorie count but I've been noticing that the last 3 or 4 days I've had stuck to my calorie intake as well as my carb intake, and even my fat intake has been low. But one thing I have noticed is that I have high sodium intake. I have been off of meats for about a week but it seems like not eating meat is increasing my sodium intake. Thoughts Anyone ?

My sodium is limited to 1500 mg. a day, and I have been eating vegan since September. I do not eat out, and do not eat many packaged foods. Eating whole, home made foods, and buying foods with low sodium, comparing labels, works for me. Sodium is so high in everything, it is ridiculous. My nutritionist said I should strive for no more than 100 mg. per serving. That is not always possible though.

Im fighting this battle as well, and have just started tracking it. You pretty much have to label read like crazy! My husband always used to tease me about my sodium ( love salty foods over sweet) but he shut up when I told him to track his, and he's having more than 4000 mg/day! He thought he was super healthy eating subway every day for lunch...hahaha. I'm hovering around 2000-2500 and I've started cutting it out slowly, when things run out looking for lower sodium soups, sauces, dressings, recipes... I also drink more water now than I ever did.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that's been having high sodium.
But I wonder how harmful it might be to be over.
I didn't know until a few days ago about blood sodium... but does any1 know
where the danger zone is on excess sodium intake?
