I am new as well. very excited to loose some weight and feel great by spring. My question is, My calerie intake should be 1200. Do you think that is a safe number for a Diabetic?

As a diabetic myself, if this number is drastically lower than your daily intake, I think you should talk to your nutrition specialist. Otherwise, if it's right around the same range as before, if only slightly lower, I think you have nothing to worry. Good luck to you!

thanks for the info. I thought it would be actually hard to eat just 1200 caleries a day. but I am finding that I am having a hard time getting to 1200 caleries. I think what eats up alot of caleries is fast food. Which I try to stay away from. Good luck on your weight loss as well.0
