HIIT Training

I am starting to implement a new HIIT program into my routine to sustain muscle mass and burn fat only. so ive been doing 15min every other day before my weight training (workout 6 days a week). i get on the treadmill or eliptical:

2mph/walk warm-up - 3min.

HIIT 1min High Intensity (11mph), 1min Low (2mph) - 15min.

2mph/walk recover - 2min.

10min rest, then straight into my weight training routine. I do one muscle group a week.

So far, ive been doing ok at maintaining muscle weight and trimming belly fat.

Any tips??
