First day with polar moniter

My heart moniter came! It was easy to program thank goodness. I don't completely understand it yet but here is what I learned...My inexpensive stationary bike way overstated my calorie burn. My decent elliptical slightly overstated my burn and my pretty nice treadmil was close but still overstated, which could matter. MFP's numbers were definetly off, sometimes over sometimes under, but alot closer than my equipment. There ya go. It's going to be fun and hopefully helpful.

I love my HRM. My equipment always seems to underestimate my burn, so I like having the accuracy of the HRM. And it is great for activities where you don't have a guideline, like walking, hiking on varied terrain etc! It lets you know exactly how hard you worked and I see a real difference in my readings on the same activity when I have a good day versus a sub par effort.0
